I have been an educator for twenty-three years in the public school system. During this time, professional growth experiences have refined my pedagogy in both theory and practice. As an experienced elementary educator, I have excelled in developing and maintaining a positive relationship with all stakeholders of the school community. I am  a team-oriented educator who works enthusiastically with colleagues to create content that is engaging for all students. I understand that content must be flexible and compatible with the fast pace and ever-changing educational programs. I have always encouraged and welcomed open communication between school and home through student led conferencing, social media technology, and parent volunteer opportunities. I am effective in facilitating research-based instruction strategies in the classroom through scaffolded flexible grouping to teach mathematics and reading resulting in promoting student engagement and growth outcome. All of these accomplishments and attributes assisted myself in building a program that supports upcoming educators at Bryant Career Technical School.
